HELP US FUNDRAISE FOR BEARDSLEY ZOO
Nature in Art
For more than 100 years, Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo has inspired visitors to discover the wonders of wildlife and the natural world. As Connecticut’s only zoo and an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), the Zoo is dedicated to wildlife conservation, education, research, and the protection of endangered species and their habitats.
Through Nature in Art, we celebrate the powerful connection between creativity and the natural world. By exploring the beauty, diversity, and wonder of wildlife through art, we invite artists to see nature from new perspectives and develop a deeper appreciation for the world around them.
The Zoo’s commitment to conservation and education helps protect wildlife for future generations. Support for these efforts contributes to animal care, educational programming, conservation initiatives, and the preservation of the natural habitats that countless species call home.
Every contribution helps make a difference. Together, we can inspire creativity, celebrate the beauty of nature, and encourage the next generation to become thoughtful stewards of our planet.
About the Artists
The artwork featured in Nature in Art was created by students participating in One River School’s September Art Shuffle projects across all Art Shuffle programs. Through this collaborative project, artists of all ages explored the beauty of nature and expressed their creativity through their unique artistic perspectives.
