3D Sculptural Painting – Tuesday Night Camp!

Five Tuesday nights: July 13, 20, 27, August 3, and August 9 from 5-7:30 PM
Students will create paintings that function both as a two and three-dimensional work of art. Students will be challenged to build protruding paper mache forms onto their canvas that directly correlate with the theme of their painted surface. We will explore techniques in painting with acrylic while using plaster to build sculptural forms.
- Learn how to use paper mache and acrylic paint
- Demonstrate the use of armatures, and painting techniques
- Complete a three dimensional relief sculpture and painting
