Wanting to create an oversized or irregular shaped piece of art? Are you interested in cutting down the cost of pre-made assembled canvases? Or do you just want to learn a new skill? This advanced teen workshop provides students with the skill sets needed to craft, assemble and stretch their own canvases to become a more self-sufficient and well rounded artist. This workshop is open to any serious artist who is interested in learning the art of canvas stretching.

-Learn to assemble a canvas from basic materials.
-Discover how to create custom sized canvases & irregular shapes.
-Create 1 custom canvas to use in a future artwork.

How to Photograph Artwork

Need to obtain high resolution imagery of your artwork and you don’t know how? This advanced teen workshop provides students with the skill sets needed for establishing high quality images of their artwork for use in establishing a digital portfolio (college application) or for creating fine art prints! This workshop is specifically designed for the advanced teen artist who is preparing for a college application in the upcoming year; yet all serious art students are welcome to attend.

-Learn to capture high quality imagery of both 2D and 3D works of art!
-Discover how to set up a lighting studio for art photography.
-Experiment with light meters, and DSLR.

*Students should bring in 2-3 of their best works to photograph as part of the event.

*Students may work with staff to capture additional imagery beyond the workshop.
